Participating as a team is not just fun, but rewarding as well. Teams are rewarded for going above and beyond in their efforts at a Bike MS ride with the following team awards.
Top 3 Fundraising Teams
Qualifications: Top three teams whose pledge amounts rank the highest at the October 14, 2008, cutoff date. Pledges received after this point will not count toward this total.
Largest Team
Qualifications: The number of team members will be considered as the number of team members who actually ride in the event and donate the minimum pledge of $250. Team member registration cannot be changed past the close of the Packet Pickup, held the night before the event.
Most Spirited Team
Qualifications: Team that best exemplifies the triple traits of good sportsmanship, rider safety and etiquette, and team camaraderie. The winner will be determined by Break Point volunteers.
Best Dressed Team
Qualifications: Team with the most creative/colorful/event-specific or motivational/fun jerseys or sponsored weekend attire. The winner will be voted on by team captains – more information to come soon. To qualify for this prestigious award, a copy of the jersey design (just the design, not the jersey) is due by Tuesday, April 1, 2008 and will be posted on the website for team captain voting. The benefit? The early award deadline encourages you to utilize the power of this well-known recruitment tool early in the recruitment year. Need some assistance getting started?
